The study of ‘CHALO’ app understanding the struggle to book a bus ride due to lack of detailed information about the bus, payment navigation and poor tracking visuals to enhance their user experience and save time by finding a solution which wil help new and regular users to have a user friendly booking experience.

Who are the target audience?

Users in India (primary)
Young adults (18+)
Working professionals (34+)
Lower-income and upper-middle-income
Users comfortable with smartphones and basic apps

Problems that were identified

Lack intuitive design, making it difficult for users to find features or complete tasks quickly.

Important details like bus arrival times or stop locations buried within the app, causing frustration.

The app's functionality overwhelms users less familiar
with smartphones.
